The Trustees seek to make modest sized grants to organizations concerned with the health, well being and education of children, the disadvantaged and the elderly.
Specific programs or projects, rather than general operating support or capital programs,
are favored. Requests for funds for conferences, seminars or loans are not within the scope of the Foundation.
Site visits are only made at the request of the Foundation.
Geographically, grants are made only in New York City and on Long Island.
All grant applicants must be organizations that are tax exempt under 501 (c)(3)
of the Internal Revenue Code.
The Vogler Foundation requests prospective grant applicants to use the New York Area Common Application Form. Copies may be obtained from the Foundation. Applications should be concisely worded.
Every application is fully evaluated and reviewed. Applicants are notified of Board decisions soon after each quarterly meeting of the Trustees.
Grant applications should be submitted NO LATER than the first day of:
March, July, and November.
