Women's emergency shelter for 25 homeless women, under contract to Salvation Army. Named "Tonya's Room" after a woman who was murdered after being turned away from a shelter because of lack of space. $12,000
Providence Hospitality House

General shelter operations: founded in 1979, providing shelter, counseling, food, and childcare for abused women and children. $10,000
Seattle Goodwill

Case management provided to students in the job training and education programs. They help students access support in nutrition, healthcare, housing, counseling and transportation. $10,000

General operations: includes shelter and safety programs, a motel voucher program, a Latina outreach program, a rent assistance program, and a "coming home program" that's a collaboration with other agencies to help battered women transition to permanent housing. $10,000

General operations: through long-term, intensive play therapy and social advocacy, they resolve barriers to children's healthy development. They provide long-term, parent education, and advocacy in courts and the schools. $8,000
