The Hackett Foundation, Inc., was founded in 1975 by William J. Hackett. As an Independent Private Foundation; The Hackett Foundation is limited by its giving to the funding of grants for supplies and equipment. Grants are primarily given, but not limited to, Catholic Missions, and organizations located in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
The primary focus of the Foundation is to provide assistance to those Catholic Organizations which promote the Health, Welfare, Education and Independence of individuals.
It is not the policy of The Hackett Foundation to provide continuous support for any project to the extent that the project becomes dependent upon The Hackett Foundation for its continued existence.
Full Financial Accounting for the expenditures of grants is required of all recipients; as part of the Foundation’s contractual written agreement with the grantee. |
