This web site provides background on the Sarah K. de Coizart Article TENTH Perpetual Charitable Trust, which was established in 1992 under Mrs. de Coizart's Will. Annual distributions from the Trust are managed by JP Morgan Chase Bank and an additional co-Trustee. The following guidelines pertain only to grantmaking conducted by JPMorgan Chase Bank. The grantmaking program conducted by the co-Trustee focuses on different issues and does not accept unsolicited proposals.

| | - The Trust focuses exclusively on two areas:
Environment, including conservation, research and education; and
- Blindness-related services and research.

| | - Environment: New York and the northeast region of the United States.
- Blindness: primarily New York City.
|

| | No grants are made to individuals or for matching gifts or loans. |

| | Organizations must be classified by the Internal Revenue Service as public charities and tax-exempt under section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986. |

| | Grants range in size from $25,000 to $100,000 per year. Multi-year requests are considered. The payout for FYE 1/31/07 was $535,000. |
